What we made happen

We provided outsourced, turnkey project management services for a major renovation to the existing Nalley BMW dealership in Decatur, Georgia (metro Atlanta area).

Conducted a feasibility study to determine alternative expansion strategies such as relocation of the dealership vs. renovation in place. Typical Program Management services were provided such as centralized reporting, budgeting, and scheduling. We also worked with the project architect to ensure that BMW platform specifications were met, did strategic procurement of the service and parts equipment and oversaw the bidding process to general contractors to obtain GMP.

Additionally, we represented the client at zoning hearings and obtaining all the necessary approvals/permits, managed the construction and did the logistical planning for delivery of the Owner-furnished FF&E. We conducted weekly progress meetings at the jobsite and coordinated the grand opening with the client’s operational staff.

By utilizing the outsource Program/Project Management model, the client was able to quickly ramp up the project while allowing their staff to focus on Nalley’s core business of selling and servicing automobiles. Other metro-Atlanta Nalley projects included a major renovation of a 132,000sf truck sales and service facility located on 8 acres in Norcross, GA.
