What we made happen

Responsibilities included the management of MIT’s $100 million construction program which included three (3) Projects. A comprehensive Quality Construction Management (QCM) services contract was completed for the Construction Phase of the three projects, as well as Post Construction Claims Services, as required.

The Dreyfus Chemistry Building Renovation, Graduate Residence Renovation, and Central Athletic Facilities (Phase 1) projects were grouped under a single QCM program contract to obtain cost efficiencies. The Dreyfus Chemistry Laboratories renovation involved comprehensive restructuring of the lab floor plans, plus rebuilding and refurnishing all lab spaces. The process was accomplished in three phases.

The NW 30 Graduate Housing facility converted an early twentieth-century mill to efficiency apartment-style housing for 120 first-year graduate students. Units feature full kitchens, sleeping alcoves, and baths, along with full IT wiring and individual climate control. Phase I of the Sports and Fitness Center will include 50 meter Olympic and instructional pools with seating for 500, health & fitness area, 6 squash courts, a multi-activity court, locker rooms, and administrative offices.
