What we made happen

Construction Program Management services for the “Main Street” Project (MSP) at the University of Cincinnati.  The MSP consisted of multiple capital improvements, which include new construction, renovation, expansion, demolition and relocation, including: The 185,000 gsf expansion and renovation of the existing Tangeman University Center (TUC).

Primary spaces within TUC are theater/classroom, sports and game lounge, food court.  A new building identified as the Student Life Center was constructed that was attached to the existing Swift Hall.  The Steger Student Life Center, at approximately 69,000 gsf, housed student life, student government and organizations, academic offices, food and retail, a computer lab and meeting rooms. The 46,000 gsf Swift Hall was rehabilitated for classrooms. The new Campus Recreation Center is approximately 344,000 gsf.  It includes typical health and fitness facilities, student recreational activities, classrooms, approximately 362 bed dormitory of suite style housing, some retail, and major utility relocations and improvements. 

Significant Site Utilities ($20 Million) and Open Space Development was also part of this project.  Roadways in the vicinity of Campus Life were developed as pedestrian pathways and plazas with vehicular traffic for ADA continuous access, deliveries and emergencies only.
Total Project Value: $210 Million.
