What we made happen
Mobilization, Startup and Project/Program Management services were provided to the University of North Carolina for its 10-year, $2.5 Billion Capital Bond Program encompassing 16 campuses and 3 affiliates. The bond program funded a wide variety of projects, from basic infrastructure and central utility plants, to general purpose classrooms and administrative spaces, to libraries and performing arts facilities, to high tech science research laboratories and computing facilities.
The projects ranged in size from $200K - $95M, and include renovations and new construction. The scope of services included all cost control, schedule management, quality assurance, management of A/E selection, management of pre-design and design, management of pre-construction and construction services, FF&E and move-in services.
Implemented were program-wide management systems to track and monitor projects costs, schedules, and issues, and to provide instantaneous reporting and communications. This was primarily a staff augmentation contract, and which was fully integrated into the General Administration staff.
